Let Our Arm Reach Further
We are facing such troubling times. It appears that our world as we know it is quickly spinning out of control. It is a time like this that we should let our arm reach further than ever before.
It did my heart good this past Sunday morning to see our children responding so positively to the change jars that they would come and put their change into them without even being invited to come!! It was wonderful.
Our missionaries are struggling to accomplish a task that is so overwhelming. Reaching a lost world. This is our commission. Let us help them to reach while we reach to the lost in our own communities.
See you Sunday!

Mission Sunday
Good Day New Life!
This is a gentle reminder that Mission Sunday will be February the 8th! That’s not the coming up Sunday, but the following Sunday!
We are anticipating learning more about Chili. We will be hearing from Brother Harold Fuentes himself! In this uncertain world it is so important to get the good news of Jesus Christ to a lost world.
Remember February 8th!

January, Dedication & Conscretion
Prayer is the gift of God to every believer. This is a remarkable privilege that each believer needs to take advantage of daily. Yet, the Word of God reveals that God also calls His people to pray together, “Continue earnestly in prayer, being vigilant in it with thanksgiving” Colossians 4:2. This call to pray is aimed at the church - the whole body. When Paul says that they are to continue earnestly in prayer, he is calling on the entire church to pray.
Every believer needs personal times of prayer. However, every believer must also spend time in prayer with the people of God. A healthy mature prayer life has both the private and the corporate elements. For a believer to grow and mature in prayer, he has to have both.
There are two promises tied to corporate prayer:
- The promise of praying in agreement. Matthew 18:19 ”Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.” Jesus gives this amazing promise for those who will pray agreeing together for the need.
- The promise of Jesus’ presence. Matthew 18:20 “For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.” When believers join together for prayer, they have the promise of God that He will be there in their midst.
During these 30 Days of Prayer as we join collectively and pray, let’s believe for miracles…. because when our faith unites with HIS power, anything is possible.

Consecration
Pastor Batson has asked that we all take the month of January to focus on consecrating ourselves to God. For example, he is fasting the entire month by eating only one meal each day. If you haven’t already, listening to his 2009 Kickoff sermons (which can be found on the homepage) will definitely get you on track for starting the new year.
God Bless,
Brandon
