One can hear the sighs of relief now that the Easter drama has come to a close. It was incredible to see all of the effort from so many people to pull off the drama. A huge “thank you” to everyone that was involved! Now try to get some rest!

Mercy SM has been BUSY the past month. Two big youth events (YPG & Spring Conference) within two weeks. Then of course the Easter Drama and all of its practices, plus our regular youth group sessions every Wednesday night and Sunday School! It should never be said that you have nothing to do!

I am still blown away by how powerful that our “regular” church services have been this year. Absolutely incredible! How great is our God?! Only eternity will tell exactly how much that God has done in these services. From Sunday School to Youth Group, the Presence of God has fallen in every service in a mighty way.

On a less spiritual note, yours truly turned out to be a pretty tough adversary at the bowling alley lock-in. Well at maybe not great, but I did make the trash talk stop (Kayla George). We will definitely rent a bowling alley in the near future, as every body really enjoyed it.

If you did not go to YPG ‘09, you missed an awesome time in Jesus and in fellowship! The music and atmosphere was incredible as hundreds of young people crowded the front of the church to worship and dance before the Lord! Bro. Nate Binion did a phenomenal job preaching the Word and once again hundreds of young people flooded the altars, pouring their hearts out before the Lord. Thank you Jesus for allowing us to feel your Presence in such an awesome and mighty way! I would like to give all of the van drivers a very special THANK YOU for carting all of us around all night! Bro. and Sis. George rock! It was great having our newest members of Mercy there with us: Brooke Garvey, Shelby Eakes and Ashley Eakes. I pray that each and every one of you who attended were somehow changed forever by the mighty hand of God and continue to allow Him to work in your lives! God Bless!

I just want to say THANK YOU to everyone that is involved in the drama department. It really blesses a lot of people. I can see the results of your many, many practices as the Presence of the Lord falls every single time. Tonight was no exception and it set the stage perfectly for Bro. Nathan’s message. Thank you so much Sis. Ladessa for your burden of love in this ministry.

In less than 24 hours, we will be bound for Jackson! I am so excited to get to go to this service! I have been counting down the days and it has finally arrived. reVerb student ministries is hosting “the MOVE” featuring special guest speaker Bro Jeremy Foster. I know that all who attend will be richly blessed! I have watched several videos of Bro. Foster and enjoyed them all, so it is a real treat to be able to hear him speak live. See you there ……

I was looking at some statistics for www.newlifeac.org and our visits to the site are up over 50% since last month.  We had 401 visits!  And 241 of those were first time visitors and they came from all over the world.  236 visited this blog.  Thank you to all who are helping make this blog a wonderful place.
